LATINÉ HERTIAGE MONTH: My Culture. My Wellness with lululemon

CELEBRATING LOS ANGELES:
My Culture. My Wellness

The art of being well — this was the prompt asked to each powerful Los Angeles leader to unpack and explore. Many being first generation, the idea of self-care and being well can often be pushed aside and not prioritized. The onus of ‘making it’, creating a new life for family and being the proverbial ‘first’ — all surmounting pressures. Each story dove into how they identify wellness; through movement, through connection, through community. Each person’s story is unique and beautifully captures their stories as Los Angeles leaders.

Each episode shares a day-in-their-lives to share how each handle the stress of their jobs and the pressures of carrying their individual cultural legacies. Most importantly, how they find time for themselves to restore, reconnect and take care. The art of being well.

lululemon’s priority was to put the community and its leaders first — the platform, access + resources are the first steps in building trust and establishing a connection that will lead to larger moments in the city.
